1. Scope of Service
SOBEK Luxury Transport provides premium chauffeur-driven transportation services across Switzerland. Our services include airport transfers, intercity transportation, corporate travel, and private chauffeur services.
The transportation contract becomes legally binding once a booking has been confirmed by SOBEK Luxury Transport via written confirmation, including email or WhatsApp communication.
SOBEK Luxury Transport reserves the right to modify vehicle allocation based on operational requirements while ensuring an equivalent service category whenever possible.
2. Booking and Confirmation
Reservations may be made through the company website, email, telephone, or WhatsApp.
A booking is only considered confirmed once written confirmation has been issued by SOBEK Luxury Transport.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all booking information provided is accurate, including pickup location, time, passenger count, and luggage requirements.
For certain bookings, SOBEK Luxury Transport reserves the right to request advance payment or credit card pre-authorization to guarantee the reservation.
3. Pricing and Payment
All rates include chauffeur service, fuel, and applicable Swiss VAT unless otherwise stated.
Additional costs such as parking fees, tolls outside Switzerland, tunnel charges, or special service requests may be invoiced separately.
Accepted payment methods include:
* Major credit cards
* Bank transfers
* Cash (only by prior agreement)
Invoices must be settled within the agreed payment period indicated on the invoice.
4. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing via email or other written communication.
The following cancellation fees apply:
More than 24 hours before pickup
No cancellation fee (except potential administrative fees where applicable)
12 to 24 hours before pickup
50% of the total booking amount
Less than 12 hours before pickup or No-Show
100% of the total booking amount
SOBEK Luxury Transport reserves the right to apply stricter cancellation conditions for special events, long-distance transfers, or peak demand periods.
Changes to pickup time, location, or vehicle category within 12 hours of the scheduled pickup may be treated as a cancellation and subject to the applicable cancellation fee.
5. Waiting Time & Flight Monitoring
For airport transfers, SOBEK Luxury Transport monitors flight arrivals using real-time flight tracking systems.
The following waiting times apply:
Airport Transfers
The first 60 minutes of waiting time after the actual flight landing are complimentary.
Standard Pickups
The first 15 minutes of waiting time are complimentary.
Additional waiting time beyond the complimentary period will be charged in 15-minute increments based on the applicable hourly rate.
6. Meet & Greet Service
Where applicable, SOBEK Luxury Transport provides professional Meet & Greet services inside the airport arrival hall.
This service includes:
* Chauffeur reception with a personalized name sign
* Assistance with luggage
* Escort to the vehicle
Meet & Greet services may vary depending on the airport and service category booked.
7. Luggage Policy
Passengers are responsible for ensuring that their luggage fits within the capacity of the vehicle category booked.
SOBEK Luxury Transport shall not be liable for service delays, vehicle changes, or service limitations resulting from undeclared or excessive luggage.
Special luggage items must be declared at the time of booking.
8. Passenger Conduct & Damages
Passengers must behave respectfully toward the chauffeur and comply with all applicable laws.
The following policies apply:
Strict No-Smoking Policy
Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
Cleaning Fee
If the vehicle requires professional cleaning due to passenger conduct (e.g., spills, excessive dirt), a minimum cleaning fee of CHF 250 will apply.
Damage
Any physical damage to the vehicle caused by the passenger or their guests will be billed at full repair cost.
9. Child Safety Seats
Child safety seats are available upon request and must be requested at the time of booking.
The client is responsible for informing SOBEK Luxury Transport of any child seat requirements prior to the scheduled service.
10. Vehicle Replacement & Service Disruption
In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown or technical failure, SOBEK Luxury Transport will provide a replacement vehicle of a similar category as quickly as possible.
However, SOBEK Luxury Transport shall not be held responsible for delays caused by external circumstances such as traffic congestion, accidents, road closures, or unforeseen operational disruptions.
11. Limitation of Liability
SOBEK Luxury Transport shall not be liable for delays or service disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include but are not limited to:
* Traffic congestion
* Road accidents
* Extreme weather conditions
* Mechanical breakdowns
* Security incidents
12. Force Majeure
SOBEK Luxury Transport shall not be held liable for failure or delay in the performance of its obligations where such failure results from events beyond reasonable control.
These may include:
* Natural disasters
* Government restrictions
* Strikes or labor disputes
* Epidemics or pandemics
* Road closures or security incidents
13. Right to Refuse Service
SOBEK Luxury Transport reserves the right to refuse or terminate service without refund in cases where passenger behavior threatens the safety of the chauffeur, other passengers, or the vehicle.
This includes but is not limited to:
* Aggressive behavior
* Illegal activities
* Safety risks
14. Legal Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Switzerland.
The place of jurisdiction for any legal dispute arising from services provided by SOBEK Luxury Transport shall be the location of the company’s registered office in Switzerland.
